By now
you might have heard of Kodi Lee
a young blind, autistic singer
who sang an old Leon Russell song
last week on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT
B I G D E A L
. . .actually it really was a big deal
because
Kodi is showing us
that it’s not so much the song
AS THE SINGER
B I G D E A L
. . .actually it really is a big deal
because
YOUR SONG
isn’t ever known to the World
until you
SHARE IT
and most don’t because
they’re too busy trying to perfect the notes
or get the lyrics down
trying miserably to rhyme
O R A N G E
. . .but the greatest songs have no real rhyme or reason
and the SINGER
even less than One
Here’s the Deal:
If you don’t Sing YOUR SONG
it’s not so much
no one else
W I L L
so much as
NO ONE
C A N
Don’t ever let anyone
D I R E C T
Your Symphony
Sing
YOUR SONG
(often and all-ways)

I was actually going to send you this Kodi Lee clip! The teacher in the life skills classroom I’m working in played it for our class, several of whom are also autistic though none are blind. The class erupted in applause after he finished. It brought tears to my eyes. You are spot on in finding your song. I’ve seen them trying to find theirs.
