not always dark
but completing covering
dark draping the sun
but not completely it’s rays
Seemingly to last for
An Ever
But they’re Clouds
not always dark
shading over the Sun
Like THE FUNKS
They pass and never last
For An Ever
A Season
or long
and when you’re tempted to feel
the opposite

and see your flag
boldly wave them a good
